Some d’tails about me…

Hi, I’m Bailey, the heart behind Doggy D'tails & Designs. Ever since I can remember, animals have been my world - especially dogs. I believe every pup deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and look their absolute best!

I am a certified, professional dog groomer with over three years of experience grooming in high-end salons in both West Des Moines and Grimes. Prior to that, I worked in a local doggy daycare and pup hotel for two years.  I have dedicated my career to making pets feel their happiest, and I have gained valuable experience in understanding canine behavior and comfort. While I love all aspects of dog grooming, creative styling has my heart.  It’s the perfect way to showcase every pup's uniqueness!

    Our Full Grooming Service provides your dog with a complete makeover, from a soothing bath with a blueberry facial and coat conditioning to a thorough brushing and trimming. We’ll also take care of their nails, ears, and eyes to keep them healthy and clean.

  • Mini Groom

    Our Mini Groom is a quick yet thorough service designed to keep your dog looking neat and tidy. This service is also a great way to introduce puppies to the grooming process in a gentle and positive way. Mini grooms are ideal for dogs who are growing out a shorter haircut or for those who simply want to maintain their current length. Your dog will leave feeling clean, comfortable, and ready for anything!

  • Short Coat Bath

    Our Short Coat Bath is perfect for pups with shorter coats who need a quick refresh. This service includes a gentle bath with premium shampoo, a nail trim, and ear cleaning to keep your dog feeling fresh and comfortable. It’s the ideal option for a simple yet effective grooming session! A thorough deshed can be added on for an additional price.

  • Full Refresh

    Give your pup a fresh start with our Refresh Grooming Service! This includes a full haircut service plus a thorough dematting priced by the half hour. This service is helpful with keeping their coat and skin healthy and comfy by removing uncomfortable and unwanted knots, matting and pelting. Pricing is based on the severity of matting, and while we’ll provide an estimated quote beforehand, the final cost will be determined at the end of the groom. Your dog’s comfort and well-being come first, and we’ll ensure they leave looking and feeling their best!

  • Face, Feet, Sani

    This service is a great way to keep your pup looking fresh and feeling clean between full grooms and mini grooms. This service includes trimming around the face, paws, and sanitary areas to maintain hygiene and keep your pet comfortable. It’s a quick and effective way to polish up your dog’s look and health without a full groom or mini groom!

Perfect for dogs with dry skin or a dull coat, this deep-conditioning treatment soothes irritation, adds moisture, and leaves fur feeling soft and healthy. A great way to enhance any bath, keeping your pet comfortable and looking their best!

  • Ear plucking helps keep your pup’s ears clean and healthy by gently removing excess hair from the ear canal. This allows for better airflow, reducing moisture buildup that can lead to infections. Ideal for breeds prone to ear issues, this service helps maintain ear hygiene and comfort as part of a regular grooming routine. This service has a base price but that may increase depending on time and effort involved.

  • Keep your pup’s coat tangle-free and looking its best with our Brush Out add on! This helps prevent matting, removes loose fur, and distributes natural oils for a healthier, shinier coat. Perfect between grooms or for dogs that shed, a regular brush-out keeps your pet comfortable and well-groomed!

  • Give your pup’s coat the ultimate hydration boost with our Pomegranate Açai Hydrating Butter leave in conditioning treatment! This rich, nourishing treatment deeply moisturizes, helping to restore softness and shine while preventing dryness and breakage. Infused with the power of pomegranate and açai, it conditions the coat, leaving it silky smooth and healthy. Perfect for dogs with dry or dull fur, this add-on will have your pup looking and feeling their best!

  • Keep your pup’s paws healthy with our Nail Trim add on! Regular trims prevent discomfort, overgrowth, and cracking, ensuring your dog walks with ease. A quick service to keep those nails neat and tidy—because happy paws mean a happy pup!

  • Ensure your pup’s comfort with our Anal Gland Expression add on! This quick procedure helps prevent discomfort, scooting, and irritation. Regular maintenance can keep your dog feeling their best!

  • Say goodbye to excess fur with our De-Shedding add on! This treatment helps reduce shedding, keeping your pup’s coat healthy and your home cleaner. We also use an avocado mist that helps prevent breakage while moisturizing and conditioning the coat. This nourishing mist penetrates the hair shaft, preventing dryness and damage, leaving your pup’s fur soft and healthy and helps keep shedding at bay between appointments. Perfect for those long haired sheddy pups!

    Pricing is based on the amount of shedding, and while we’ll provide an initial quote, the final cost may be adjusted at the end of the service based on the time and effort required. Let us help your furry friend stay fresh and tangle-free!

  • Treat your pup to some extra TLC with our Paw & Nose Coconut Oil Treatment! This nourishing service helps soothe dry, cracked paws and noses, keeping them soft, hydrated, and healthy. A perfect way to give your furry friend the comfort they deserve!

  • Keep your pup’s smile fresh with our Teeth Brushing add on! This quick and gentle treatment helps reduce plaque buildup, combat bad breath, and support overall dental health. A great addition to their grooming routine for a healthier, happier smile!

Thi is available as an add on with a full groom, short coat bath, or mini groom, plus an additional price for every extra half hour service time for the hair dye. A price estimate will be provided before the service, but the final cost may be adjusted based on how long the dye may need to sit, detail required and how much dye is used. Available in a variety of colors, our tinsel is securely tied to ensure it stays in place and can last about one to two weeks, depending on your dog’s play and activity level. Price varies on how much tinsel used to create your desired look.
